I like Rapha stuff. I admit it is on the expensive side but the few bits I have are well made, comfortable and durable - and specifically designed for cycling. Plus, their jerseys and bibs have a free crash repair service that makes it worth the extra couple of quid if you fall off from time to time.

This evening I received the 'Rapha Black Friday' eMail so thought that I would take a quick browse and see if I could bag myself a 1/2 priced pair of bib's, or cut price jersey (bringing the price in line with Assos or similar).

Aside from the odd bit of cycling gear the majority of kit in the sale seemed to be massively overpriced 'tat' with the Rapha logo on, £21 bottle opener, £56 belt, £63 leggins, £38 for a 'man-bag', £28 for a plain t-shirt......

As much as I like Rapha stuff on the bike I would not pay £28 for a t-shirt that looks like it's a free give-away from a company that make hair products!

Am I alone in thinking that Rapha may have taken a step too far in pushing over-priced stuff to the masses? Would you blindly pay £21 for a bottle opener because it had Rapha stamped on it? Am I missing something......?
