Steve Abraham is attempting to break Tommy Godwin's 75 year old record for miles cycled in a year.
Tommy managed 75,065 in 1939. Steve hopes to top 80,000.

There's a bloke from Richmond (who last year broke the record for most miles in a week) who is putting in mega miles in Australia at the moment too, but I don't know if he is officially gunning for the OYTT or not.

He has 2500 miles on Goodwin, which is about 2weeks riding? How long does a broken ankle take to heal?

Good news, Steve is back on his trike. 80 miles on one leg today..

Anyone still following this? He's only 5k behind the record, despite being off the bike for some time earlier in the year. Currently knocking out 200+ miles a day, every day.

The side by side comparison to me is rather amusing!
