Which of these full sus bikes?
Discussion
I want a full sus MTB. I need it to be on finance - I.e can't go 2nd hand / eBay.
Having a look on Paul's Bikes - they have some good deals.
Looking around the 1200 - 1500 mark
I'm just under 6ft so I think I need medium? Ad it's better to lean towards slightly smaller than too big.
Which is better out of these that keep cropping up

There's a few variations on those but basically them. Think I want 27.5 over 29.
Am I right in thinking that rear suspension set up like that is not as good as where the shocker is up near the top tube rather than down near the pedals?

Do we all free rh canyon is the best though?
I will go down the interest free credit card route!
Large frame.
Just one query I see the back shoker on the canyon had a remote selector so can pick from climb / trail / descend. But would any of them fully lock it like u can on front forks? I ask because I'm used to road bikes and a firm frame and will probably do a bit of road / path cycling to get to trails and do a fair bit of climbing (I'm in yorkshire!) so I don't want to be bouncing all over the place losing momentum!
I was set on a hardtail but there are so many rocky paths and that near me I'm now set on the full sus!
Cheers

Yeah I like that! Is it a 27.5-er? Is the spec as good ad that Canyon? What are the shocks like?Is there a waiting list for these? Want something pretty quick!
Cheers. Only reservations are:
1. Read some bad reviews of the rear shock but I'm no connoisseur so maybe I wouldn't notice? That was the shock on the Aeris 3.
2. I'm itching to go and want to be out on a local event early April - my experience of these things is that they really drag out.
3. Massive upfront deposit really and also they are miles from me.
Might have to go with another option.
On the plus side I have the credit card sorted so just need to find a bike.
