This is one of those times where I think there'll be dozens of options, but I can't locate an Android app which will open a GPX file (or similar) and then provide turn by turn navigation as you ride.

I found a bit of my route on OpenStreetMaps and would like to export it for use on my phone:

Any suggestions would be welcome, would like to use it this weekend.

Legitimate use of lmgtfy, but unfortunately the solution seems weirdly elusive. Was hoping someone here might have something they regularly use and could recommend.

I used OsmAnd Maps in the end. I didn't have any of the issues you've mentioned, just popped it by the handlebars, it announced the route and turned the screen on at the junctions and I just got on with it. Thought it was fantastic as a free app, I was moments away from buying a Garmin Edge Touring too.

If you were having trouble with it I'd guess it was either your routes or device. I think I made mine on www.ridewithgps.com and put in plenty of waypoints so it couldn't get it wrong.
