Morning all.

can anyone recommend a good company for bike insurance? Putting them on the house insurance isn't an option at the moment as i'm in a shared house.

Tried using the search option...

I do, but i want to see whether there's a better way to cover high value items than on that policy.

Do you really need insurance? I don't insure any of mine on the basis that bike insurance is very expensive and the only one I ever leave anywhere is the cheapest one with a decent lock around it and in a secure building.
I live in London and have a nice bike. I wouldn't put it past some low life to try and take it whilst i was riding it sadly.

I use https://bikmoplus.com and they have been amazing.

Much cheaper than the BC equivilliant also covers all your kit (shoes, clothes, helmet etc).

I was taken out by some tt In a completely separate race in a crit earlier in the year and they my insurance paid up with 5 days of the accident.
That's good to hear. Hope the injuries weren't too bad.
