First time I've had carbon(part) wheels. They ride ok but seem a bit twangy. I even thought I might have a loose spoke but can't identify one. I guess there's some echo from the carbon bit.
Oh and really I'm only talking about the back wheel

Oh and another thing......really hard work in the strong crosswinds today.
Anyone else?

Cheers
Im not using extenders...bought new tubes
My 23c tyres were a bit of a stretch on these slightly wider rims, quite hard to get on in fact but seem ok once inflated.
It never occurred to me that the clinchers would have a wider rim.
The noise is ok on smooth Tarmac but when under pedalling load whilst going over rough surfaces they just seem to chatter a bit??

Just been out. Much quieter today. Gave them a prod and a poke before I went.
These are the ones by the way

Yep from the chap on eBay
Collected in person, really nice family and has lots of Planet X stuff through a business connection. I was going to get their clinchers since I'm only 10 miles from PX headquarters but figured these looked as good/bad lol and I saved some cash.

As for the saddle it doesn't seem to look quite so angled in real life, although camera never lies etc. as said I've got used to it but I'm prepared to tweak it and see if it's better although I'm not sure about the being further forward bit but I'm always open to try stuff..
