Anything better for the money?

My 15yr old daughter had a quick spin on my Argos bargain Ventura CP50 when it arrived & loved it, she looked very natural on it despite it being slightly large for her. She has mentioned it a few times since so I started browsing eBay to see what was about & ended up finding this http://www.rutlandcycling.com/284965/products/2015...

As she has done swimming, athletics & now kayaking we are encouraging her to try Triathlons, reckon she'd be pretty good. Looking forward to riding with her myself too. What pedals do you think I should get her, SPD's or SL's? I'm tempted to go SPD as I find them easier than the SL's on my CP50 (R540's).

I have clicked purchase but it won't be shipped 'til Monday so still time to change my mind if something better comes up.
