I dropped my daughter of at Gatwick this morning & popped into their main office warehouse place.

Their bikes seemed so overpriced, i can't believe people were actually parting with their hard earned for bikes with average group sets for such high prices.

I really don't know why i keep popping in there .

What bugs me but i'm sure all the other big bike firms are the same is that i'm in their main head office warehouse & they are selling SPD CL cleats on the shelf for £19.99, yet if i buy them on line or click & collect i can get them of £12.49

What kind of fkery is this ? i have had a few cloudy old Rosie's tonight but how does this make sense ?

I spent a grand (albeit via C2W) on a bike with Sora.

But then I don't judge value on how blingy a groupset I can get for the money.

That's fair enough sir, But the heartbeat of any bike is the groupset .When looking for a bike i always look at the groupset first.

Full dura Ace can be obtained for a little over 2K (any excuse to post a picci of my princess)

I did take a chance with sizing etc but i'm really still in love with my bike.

Probably a weird option, but you can spec a Ribble 7005 Sportive with Dura-Ace for £1,399.94 on their bike builder.
Pay up Pablo!

Opportunism. Like Halfords they will price match their own webstore. As well as any other online retailer.
Price match ! my arse , they only price match certain retailers , they wouldn't match something i found in Decathlon.

It's a pain in the arse to trundle over to Purley but out of principal i will as well as saving a pony to boot

Agree'd but the guy said to me yesterday that if i found it anywhere cheaper in the uk they would match it.

Apart from Decathlon that is ,

Good old Halfords have now got my hard earned.
