So knowing diddly squat about full suspension bikes but own a 12 yr old Scott genius 750, these two have peaked my interest.

Currently 15% off cannondale at the mo and I can get 10% off the Boardman, both get good reviews, the new bike will be used on mainly single track and the odd bike park visit.

Which is worth more of a look ?

Hmmm left fork on the cannondale might be bit of a problem, as usually drive to go mountain biking and the m4 does not take bike racks, so bike has to go into boot with front wheel off.

Any other recommendations for a full sus bike around £1500-£1700 ?

The spec on the Boardman is really nice, I have a 10% off bikes voucher from an Etape I did, it will get you 10% off on top of BC membership diacount and sales price, it's yours if you want it?

Walked into Bristol's cycle republic to have a look at the Boardman fs pro and reserved it !

Cycle republic have a sale on at the moment, fs team is £850 and if you ask nicely the fs pro is £1274, at that price and with the voucher and bc card it's an absolute steal. This deal runs out on Friday and I don't know if it is repeated in halfords.

I was going to go cannondale but the lefty fork does not work with my M4's boot as it is a right faff to remove the front wheel, easy but a through axle is quicker.

Chuffed with my new boardman fs pro, 15% off and used a gift card so only cost me £1180 !

Got home to discover I've got an upgraded monarch debonair rear shock and a 2017 fsa comet crankset fitted.

Will take it on a small ride tomorrow.

Try cycle republic stores, the one in Bristol had good stock levels, or go into your local halfords and they can search the system.

Managed to reserve a Boardman Pro FS in Farnborough today, they had just got 2 in this morning.
They said they're selling out fast!

A bit annoyed as last night there was 10% off any bike purchased online, but when we checked in store, it wasn't running.

Still 10% off with vouchers and 10% for the cycling membership.
I've still got the 10% off voucher that R1gtr gave me, as the 15% discount from cycle republic would not accept vouchers.

Do you want the voucher ?

Just picked mine up!

Just put some old M520 pedals on for now, then the upgradings will start (nicer pedals, maybe a dropper post)
Paid £971 for this, due to the 20% off, BC discount, and the voucher trick. Plus I should have ~£35 quidco cashback coming my way in a couple of months. That's a hell of a lot of bike for the money....

Just set the pressures up and tightened some of the bolts, and am having a coffee and admiring it while its all clean. Then maybe i'll take it for a spin before it gets dark!

Oh, i'd better get a BETD hanger ordered while I think of it...
£971....blimey I should of waited !! I've just got a Rockshox reverb stealth which will be fitted tomorrow but ridden next week due to surgery recovery.

What pressure you running in the shocks ?

Hope the recovery goes well!
I'm really interested to see how the Reverb goes on. Doing it yourself of getting the LBS to? Does it require cutting/bleeding of the cable?
Are you concerned by the appalling reliability record of the reverb? My mate is on his 3rd I think... on the other hand, they seem happy to keep sending replacements out no-questions-asked, so you cant fault the customer service I guess! So i'll probably go for one of those too and just keep the standard seatpost close to hand...

Set the shock at 175psi for starters... (I'm ~12 stone, or a shade under) i'll take it for a quick spin round Swinley tomorrow after work and see whats what smile
I was a bit concerned about the reliability of the reverb but chain reaction had them at a good price combined with the BC 10% discount, going to try and fit them myself, no fitting instructions included but there is a good vid on YouTube.

My rear shock is about 190psi.

Gutted today, went tubeless and in the process of putting the front wheel back on, snapped the quick release on the axle pin! It literally just snapped in my hand

Off to Halfords tomorrow to see if they'll replace free off charge, not impressed that it broke so easily

The rear one was fine
Isn't that a Rockshox maxle thru axle ?

Has anyone replaced their rear thru axle, I've managed to snap off my Allen key in the hole. It is a formula fqr-12e but can't find anything on google.
