I currently have a Planet X stealth, size XL. I had a bike fit done recently and the fitter said that the bike was in essence too small for me. Apparently Planet X bikes come up small and all have a low Stack height in comparison to some others - seems to be common on cheaper bikes.

We made some tweaks to get the bike comfortable for this season but his advice was to sell it and get something else. I hate the bike, it just feels wrong and don't enjoy riding it, even with the changes. The fitter has tweaked again and he has said it is the best he can get it. We've swapped the stem, saddle, aerobars.

I had changed the wheels and groupset on it so I probably only need a frame.

Currently looking at a Cervelo P3 or Spesh Shiv, both of which have a much bigger stack height. The P3 has some odd BB set up it seems, will a normal Ultegra chainset work on that frame?

Might even consider a 2nd hand P5 if I can stretch to it.

Any other suggestions for big tall chap? Bike will be used for 40km TT , mostly within an Oly distance tri.

Yeah the fitter said to go back and he will do a set up on the Muve bike. Its annoying shelling out another 200 notes for another fit but if I am going to be spending £2K plus on a frame its worth it.

Just wanted to get an idea of the bikes that are around and what people recommend. Need to set a budget and earn enough brownie points from the wife before I book the fit!

If you have a look at the slowtwitch stack and reach database you might be able to get some ideas. Note that the older (classic?) cervelos, are a very different geometry.. very much long and low (just in case you consider a secondhand one)
Cool thanks. The Aragon 18 recommended above has the same stack as the Planet X.

Cervelo, Scott, Cannondale, Felt and Trek all seem to have stacks bigger than the PX.
