Chamois cream - what do you use?

For ages now I've been using the Assos stuff and have found it really rather good....but I'm wondering whether some of the others (eg udderly smooth, morgan blue etc) are as good, and that you're paying a bit for the price of the Assos name.

I'm down to under 1/2 tub of Assos and I'm tempted to try something new....but then 1/2 of me says stick with what you know. But at £12 or whatever for 140ml, there are definitely cheaper alternatives out there. Would like to hear your thoughts, especially those who have already used Assos.

I'm pretty sure sudocrem has totally the wrong consistency for something during a ride....it doesn't seem to offer much in the way of reducing friction, which is the whole point of a chamois cream.

After a ride, however.....fine.
