Recomendation road tyres for a Specialized Roubaix?
Discussion
Hi All,
The Espoir Elite BlackBelt x 2 tyres on my Specialized Roubaix are flattening off and I've got a few cracks appearing so will need replacing soon. I've done over 2,500 miles in a mixture of conditions all year round and only had one puncture, so fairly happy from that perspective. Size is 25* x 700 which I'll stick with.
Does anyone have any suggestions of tyres which are slightly lighter, give better rolling resistance but will offer good puncture resistance.
I see both the Continental Grand Prix 4 season and Continential Grand Prix 4000S II mentioned as alternatives?
Recommendations please?
