Canyon Endurace - anyone have?

I am wondering how it compares in geometry / position to the Ultimate AL / CF. In the images it looks very much the same.

The reason I ask is that after a few months now of daily checking the Canyon Outlet, I have "reserved" one of their Endurace's that came on last night. It seemed to be such outstanding value I couldn't not do it. However, before I part with funds I want to be sure it is not going to be too relaxed.

It is a 2016 Endurace CF SL Ultegra in Stealth Black with Red writing. Looks to be an ideal all year round bike for me, although it is half a kilo lighter than my current "best bike".

Not really, as I am after opinions of people who have actually owned one / ridden one or both rather than just looking at numbers that mean nothing to me. And as for spending £2000 - typical assumptive comment thrown out by yourself which is way, way, waaay off the mark.

Jimbo back is fine now and healed well during prolonged mileage over summer and autumn, going to throw myself back into big miles in January.

Thanks for the constructive replies above, I have heard some reports of cracks developing in the past with Canyons but not many reports, with the amount of bikes they sell I guess it would be expected that a small percentage have some sort of issue. Hopefully being a lighter rider will lessen the chance of any frame damage.

The difference this time is I have actually bought it - got the 3 emails from Canyon confirming the order and they are now waiting for me to transfer funds to their IBAN bank account (that's a first for me, never done an international transfer before).

It was up at £1300, 7kg weight, I have been looking at the outlet for months, and this seemed to me too good a deal to turn down.

Luckily for me I now have free bike servicing from a neighbour who only asks for a small donation (£10) to a charity they do a lot of fundraising for. I have taken a few bikes to him now, amazing job, far better than any LBS has done, stripped, de greased, cleaned and totally overhauled, for nothing other than cost of parts and a £10 donation.

Luckily for me, and just like me, he is a perfectionist - so in terms of servicing I am sorted. I might even learn how to do some more complex stuff with him to boost my learning.

Its my lack of knowledge, ability and time that leads me to have someone else do the work. It has no bearing on my perception and observation of the end result.

They won't accept more. In fact the secon time I used them they wouldn't accept anything at all as it was a week after the last time I used them. A rare find.
