Thinking of getting one:

https://www.boardmanbikes.com/gb_en/products/400-s...

I'm wanting a lightweight (c. 9kg or less), disc equipped road bike so I can ride from home, ie without driving somewhere first, as with the mountain bike. Looking at doing 20-30 mile local rides - nothing extreme, but I'd like a bit of comfort (I notice the frame allows for fitting bigger tyres). Any opinions on this bike, or suggest alternatives? I'd like hydraulic disc brakes (decent ones), and 105/Ultegra grade components. Frame material doesn't matter so much. I was also looking at the Canyon Endurace series.

Thanks!

I bought the exact bike in December. But I can't give you much opinion as Ive only ridden it a few hundred metres so far - waiting for better weather before taking it out. Plenty of room for 28 tyres though and probably bigger.

It weighs in at 8.3kg so for disc bike its light. The combination of hydraulic levers/discs and ultegra was what swayed me. Having used cable discs I definately wanted better brakes. Mine was a good deal from my LBS as it was a display model - I paid £1000 for mine (RRP is £1900)

At £1000 it's a good deal £1749 sounds expensive for what you get.
What's an equivalent at a lower price with Ultegra/105 components, Shimano hydraulic discs and less than 8.5kg weight?
