Inner knee pain

Been suffering quite severe knee pain on the inside of my left knee on the last two rides, initially thought it was mud in my spd so cleats so cleaned them but no difference, no other change to my cleat position, bike etc so at a loss as to what has caused it, got a physio booked for tomorrow to have a look.

The only thing I can think of is I changed to driving an automatic two months ago, could that really have an effect so quickly on my left legs muscles ?

Will ask the physio about rolling the itb, my cleats haven't moved as I had drawn a line round them when they were fitted, hopefully more knowledge after the physio.

Seen the physio, no damage to the knee, quad tendon is angry over the knee and he seems to think it could be my ankle as I slightly injured it whilst skiing and i might be protecting it and causIng an imbalance.

Another hot girl ! the physio has given me that exercise but what I have noticed is that my left ankle is incredibly weak, can balance on it but wobble around like I'm on a deck of a boat in rough seas.

Looks like ankle anterior impingement and I guess weeks off the bike. What can I do to keep fit, can't run, don't like swimming...
