Best puncture resistant tyres for road?

After 2 punctures last night and a 5 mile walk home in the pitch dark in silly shoes im in need of the above i think!!

No idea whats best so would appreciate suggestions.

For the record, my bike is still on the Schwalbe Luganos it came with and they've stood up well to the rigours of a daily London commute. I've not had a puncture in over 1000 miles.

Came with bike,some Kenda something or other,slicks.

Well I've been out for a spin on my newly acquired Hardcase's tonight.

Seem ok,quite hard so ran them slightly lower pressure.

All I've got to do now is evolve some night vision eyes to spot all the potholes on dark country lanes!
