FIRST TIME TO NHRA WINTERNATIONALS

Hello members , so this February I will be attending the nhra winternationals in pomona. Since this is my first time going and taking the whole family . We will be buying gen admission
tickets . Are there any TIPS you can pass along in how to save your seat or general seating area when you get up to look around. (I've heard you can tape a blanket to bench area where you want to sit . Is that true?)....
