Honda CVR tight turn shuddering

My 2000 model Honda CVR makes a shuddering "dry" sound when turning a tight corner but goes away when wheels are straightened.....What could that be caused by ?
Any suggestions ?

Well I took my Honda crv to the garage but was told that they would not do the differential service.I had to go to a HONDA dealership and would cost about £180.00.
Sounds like a rip off to me .
Im really peeved

Well guys it seems rather peculiar ....if it is so simple , why wont an ordinary car workshop do this so called oil change or service ?
Why would they refer me to a so called HONDA dealership ?
I asked the question and was told the HONDA dealers have the correct equipment to do this job.

Perhaps it is not as simple as it seems.

Thanks guys for all your advice.
I finally plucked up the courage and tackled the job myself.
I just removed the filler plug used my good old oil can and squirted the oil into the hole until its started running out ....put the plug back and hey Presto job done!
