Want to help spec an audio upgrade on my Civic type-r EP3?

Hey Guys.
Just become the proud owner of a 2006 EP3, loving it. However it's got the stock stereo and the noise from the road is quite loud. This combines to give a less than ideal audio experience. I would like to upgrade the head unit to a DAB radio which uses the existing aerial and also has usb/aux inputs. I am also going to soundproof the doors (seems pretty straightforward). I'm also going to replace the speakers front and rear. Any suggestions/experience installing speakers? which ones fit? Any good DAB head units?
Ideally i don't want to be using additional amplifiers and its not all about the bass! I'm happy with 6music or radio2! So it doesn't have to be mental expensive, just a solid upgrade which together with soundproofing will improve the overall quality.
