Honda HR-V 2000 1.6 CVT
Discussion
Hey all,
I'm pondering buying a 1st Gen Honda HR-V as my work and tow truck for light building rest/refurb I do. Vans work out way too expensive and I'd rather have the reliability and optionality of a softroader.
So, I am struggling to understand does anyone know if it's a timing belt or chain? if so, on a 17 y/o vehicle how many changes would you expect to see in the service book?
I would also appreciate any feedback on issues with them. I know the CVT can be a bit of trouble but fixable with a kit from Honda?
Also, to confirm, they don't have cruise control? I also saw another one (51 plate) alleging it had traction control which i'm sure is wrong?
