Prelude BB?

Hi chaps. I've just got myself a 94 2.0i Prelude which had previously taken a head-on knock and bodged back to former glory by a former owner.

Now wanting to do the job properly and searching for replacement bumpers, I've stumbled across the issue of whether a bumper from a BB1, BB2, BB3 or any other BB number for that matter will fit?

What the hell do these numbers mean?!!!

Any help will be much appreciated

Oh! and I've only just registered on here too, as a good chum of mine told me you guys were the bees knees when it came to knowing anything and everything about anything that rolls around in rubber .... Tho I'm sure this is hardly a taxing question.... I'm just lazy

Thanks for that! I can see now that it has no reference to the body... just the engine.

I was confused as a parts dealer on ebay is selling a bumper for a BB3 and says he also has one for a BB1, both from the same year.

Ahh! thank you Matt!

That's cool. As long as the mountings are the same is all I'm worried about.

They never specify which BB you have with the after market ones, so it makes sense that they are.

K here's another question for you... What on earth does the key lock next to the fuel cap and boot release levers do? ... I'm thinking... Nothing!
