Roads clear in May?

Hi we're planning a trip to the Corvette Show on Lake Garda and looking to have a few stopovers on our return.

What are the road conditions likely to be around the san Moritz area at the end of May? bearing in mind we'll be in a Vette, and probably an automatic one.

Any places you can recommend a couple of nights stopover and maybe a couple of decent mountain pass roads.

The Corvette meeting clashes with the Mille Miglia so hotels are going fast around Brescia, so we had to book early.
