PistonHeads official track day partnership

PH and RMA team up to offer PHers some great track offers

We know how keen PHers are to get on track and the recent Sunday Service at Silverstone proved this with everyone enjoying their stint on the circuit.

We've teamed up with RMA to provide you with some fantastic, well organised track days so there are more chances to get on track with fellow PHers.

RMA has been arranging track days since the late 80s and have over 1,000 events in seventeen countries under its belts so experience is a given. Its goal is to maintain a friendly environment and for everyone to have a great time on track. A good attitude and consideration to other track day enthusiasts is more important than what car you drive. To maintain this, a high standard of track etiquette is required by everyone in attendance, an informative briefing is given before you go out on track so all you need to do is stick to the rules.

The days are suitable for everyone from novices to old hands, ARDS qualified instructors are available for tuition too. You may even see the PH Caterham putting in an appearance...

A typical RMA track day normally flows like this:

8.00am - Registration.
8.40am - Drivers briefing - mandatory for all non-members.
9.00am - Familiarisation laps behind pace car.
9.20am - Circuit opens, with an open pit lane allowing unlimited access to all participants. However we reserve the right to run sessions if the circuit length relative to the number of participants, potential speed differentials or weather conditions dictate that sessions would be in the best interest of safety.
1.00-2.00pm - Lunch.
2.00pm - Circuit reopens with the same format as previously.
5.00pm - Circuit closes, earlier during winter hours due to restricted daylight.

Of course the benefit with open pit lane days is that each driver can have as little or as much time on track as required rather than having an allocated time on track.

RMA have a fluid pricing structure so the earlier you book, the cheaper your day will be. As the days fill up, the prices increase but the amount on the site at the time you book is the price you pay. Up to date pricing can be found by visiting the events page on the RMA website.
