Spa-Francorchamps - Your Lap Times in your cars...

Hi guys!

I am after your contribution on this post and your links about your laptimes around Spa-Francorchamps (my favourite track!).

In 2012 I was there with my Honda S2000 and did it in 3m03s;

This year, couple wkds ago I was there in my Lotus Elise 111R and did it in 2m58s;

The pic below is a bit geeky but interesting if you like this things...
I compare myself in my Lotus Elise against a top racing driver, Filipe Albuquerque in his Le Mans Audi R18 e-tron.

and that is more than fair. In fact that is the most important thing on a track day, have fun!
But for me and I know a few others out there, the fun is getting all out of your car...

Just saw and compared your video with the map I posted above... Our cornering speeds are similar(ish) although my speeds come from my speedo and not from GPS (so they are a bit optimistic at some points).
Still you were about 10s faster that is a lot!!!

A shame I don't have the speeds of the R300 to check...

PS-need to get that lap timer you use... Easy to use and to edit with gopro video?

Apparently a Aston Martin GTE Pro Class does it in around 2.19...
Unfortunately have no onboard of that... Only a few clips I came across in the twitter account of this driver, Fernando Rees. Great clips by the way of EauRouge and Pouhon
