Anyone else at the MSV day this Saturday on the Bedford GT layout? Weather worked out well and the day seemed to go very smoothly, the only yellow flag I saw for more than 30 seconds was a Scooby that looked like it had some mechanical problem down the bottom of the back straight. I was there in my Blue 1 series. I was really hoping to see the RS 4.0 monster round the circuit, but I only saw it fly past me once towards the end of the day before seeing it being pulled in for what I assume was noise violations frown

Hi, yes I was there in a silver Mk3 MX5. Was a good day - a bit crowded at the start but then when they started restricting the numbers on track it worked out pretty well. I think I saw you - were you in the one with the circuit decals on the side? You looked to be going pretty well I thought.

I think the layout does suit cars with more power as there are some quite long straights but still plenty of fun in the MX5. I've not tried any of the other layouts at Bedford yet.

Yeah that was probably me. I have driven the SEN layout a couple of times but this was the first time on the GT. I had brought some friends along who had a go at driving my car (explains its massive pace differences at various points in the day smile ) but they found it confusing as there isn't an obvious line. There were a couple of moments were they were going to follow the tarmac and not the cones!

I could see it being a bit dull on the back straight with an MX5 as you would be just slugging along, the section following it though should have been nice.

The mini JCW was absolutely belting along and I couldn't keep up in the morning session. Looked like a load of fun. I was hoping I was going to be able to keep up once I had learnt the layout, but I don't remember seeing you much in the afternoon frown

I was there in the Radical, got to say, the driving standards were very good from everyone I came across
I was trying to explain to a passenger what Radicals were all about as you over took me on the back straight. I said "Look at the distance between us now and then look again after the kink". By the time my 1 series had gone through the kink as fast as it could you had added about 300 metres to the gap smile
