Yep, rain on Friday, dry and overcast on Saturday, cold. I guess the early laps will be entertainingly slithery but hopefully it'll clean up as the day goes on.

Yes, apparently they updated the track layout over the winter smile

Was sorry to see the CSL in the wall too frown Glad to hear it's not a gonner.

The long wait to get on track was apparently because they were heavily limiting track numbers when it started to rain, also people kept joining the queue at the front which was bloody annoying. Apart from that one long wait I can't say I struggled to get out on track at all.

I really enjoyed the layout, to be fair it suited the Clio very well to have another tight-ish corner breaking up what would otherwise have been fairly dull in something low powered.

All in all I had a great day.

Clutch is juddering like a bd now though....

I've got a buttload of onboard footage, just not been through it yet.

If anyone wants to see what their car looks like pulling away from a slowcoach just ask and I'll see if I've got you smile

I was behind a green and yellow MX-5 with a PH smiley on it for a while, got some good video of that, until it selfishly buggered off into the distance too byebye

Hell, the only reason I didn't do it was that I forgot to get the app sorted out before the day. wink

Anyway having looked at some of my better laps I managed to do a 3:23 which I was really pleased with, knocked an absolute ton of time off my earlier laps and had a lot more fun too.

Video featuring the PH stickered MX-5 is here:

Anyone know what happened to the blue M135i that was stranded at the first corner out of the SEN layout pits? I saw it parked up in the infield with rollers under the rear wheels, hope it was nothing too serious.

Unfortunately the M135i had a failed injector causing the engine to flood with fuel which locked the engine causing it to throw the con rod through the side of the engine. So it is pretty terminal.
Wow, that's really bad news, I was thinking maybe a blown gearbox which would have been bad enough.
