Just booked this one and hope to see some of you guys who did last weeks Castle Combe day through MSE or meeting some new people.

Just need to fix my car after Combe... and find time to go on holiday... I'm sure it'll be fine wink

We got some good weather and had a great morning. Was way laid in the afternoon by my turbo to manifold bolts coming loose. Seems to be a repeating issue so taken some advice on the matter and will fix it properly this time.

Couple of passenger rides which were great fun. Nick's supercharged mx5 is entertainingly controllable. I forget your name I'm afraid but thanks very much to you if you were the one who took me out in your rx8. Really impressive car and very much looking forward to the build on mine being completed so I can take it on track.

Cheers

Gutted I didn't book it in time; a friend was there in a Mini and had a great time.

Some other kits have had difficulties with turbo to manifold studs. Apparently the metals have different coefficients of expansion causing them to loosen, inconel studs seem to be a solution. http://southernkitcars.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7...
I'm starting to see that it's not just me. There also seem to be quite a few different solutions which is good news. I've never managed to get it to happen on the road. Hardly surprising I guess as I push it quite hard on the track.

Cheers,

Mark
