Hi,

Anyone out there going on this day - it's an open pit lane, but only 90dB. I'm sure my S2000 will be under that, but it probably excludes the TVR enthusiasts!

Thanks Speedy - I booked with Goldtrack.

It's my closest track (apart from the ridiculously expensive Goodwood) but they only seem to do a handful of track days a year and the noise limits are pretty low...

What a great day! I managed a few outings before the heavens opened, then 4-5 times after lunch before a suspected dodgy wheel bearing stopped play.

Got to meet some really great people, very passionate about their cars - thanks to all - looking forward to the photos!

The suspected dodgy wheel bearing got a LOT worse on the way home, only about 3 miles from the track. Had a bit of an investigate in a layby (car wasn't safe to drive any further) and 3 out of 5 wheel nuts on the rear right were really loose! Eek! Tightened them up and all was fine again... Left me feeling a bit of a numpty!

Moral of the story - always check your nuts!
