Cadwell Park Monday 24th August ?
Discussion
QBee, came over for a chat at the end of the day and was told you`d left around 30 seconds earlier ! Arrgghh Typical !!.
Had a good chat with V8Monster instead though.
Cracking day, shame about the early Red flags. First one was expected, someone nearly always goes far too quick in the first session and goes off in Hall Bends, no matter how many times the TDO asks people to build up slowly.... The MG has been discussed elsewhere and the 2CV at the Gooseneck just before they stopped for lunch was unlucky. Otherwise, I didn`t find any issues and had no queues How lucky were we with the weather too !!!!
Just a couple of videos, first me following my mate in the Mini with Al behind in the Honda powered Elise

Then Following Dan in the MX5 with VTec engine.

So sorry Whoosher, realised as I was driving down the road that I had managed to miss you all day! I got involved with the MX5 gang, who were great fun, and time sped by.
Thoroughly enjoyed the whole day, learnt how chuckable the MX5 is in the right hands (I would have spun driving Barn te way they did), though I did have a bit of queuing to get on track. All part of the experience, and at least Javelin days are competitively priced.
I agree we were lucky with the weather - I live 40 miles west of the track, and my family report that it chucked it down there all afternoon. My only mistake was to decide to drive home with the roof panel in the boot, hemmed in my the other stuff. 4 miles from home the heavens opened.......
Ha, I always find the time just flies by !, so know exactly what you mean Thoroughly enjoyed the whole day, learnt how chuckable the MX5 is in the right hands (I would have spun driving Barn te way they did), though I did have a bit of queuing to get on track. As you say, competitively priced days and the downside is more attendees, but we know that when we book and I choose the chance of a bit of queuing rather than pay the extra for a `lower number` TDO
