Good news is that the dates for the 2016 Destination nurburgring trackdays are now out.
I know a lot of people like to plan their year around these great events. So if you are interested in great trackdays organised by a great British crew, have a look at their website.

Any hotel suggestions for July as it appears everywhere obvious within 30 miles is booked up for the WEC...
My wife and i have some nice comfy accomodation available in our converted barn 15 minutes from the track if anyone is interested please pm me. We are both regulars that help out for DN and other organisers of trackdays. I am also an instructor at the track so know the place quite well.

Looks like the Hamsters are back and with a new designed website too !

For those who haven`t heard of Destination Nurburgring, I attended the July and September events last year and did a bit of a write up after the July one on Page5 of this thread http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=148... and the October one here http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

I will be there for DN14 in April and DN16 in September .

As usual, I`ll be helping out too when I`m not driving my Golf woohoo
"a bit of a write up"!!! More like war & peace. Love you really Nige, still waiting for that quick lap !-)

Good point, worth considering.

I actually do t know how I will find returning to track days, the car (on track) and the whole 'Ring experience. It may be - because it's certainly on my bucket list - something I do once, or it could be something I want to repeat and, either way it's probably worth having some video to review.
Just enjoy the event and have a good time.

Staying with Roy & Kim was the high point of my last trip to the Ring to retrieve my broken Cerb. They fed us and stayed up half the night entertaining us, which we really needed.
