Cool I'll be in a Boxster GTS and if it's not raining I'll have the Caterham 620R along as well. If one of more of my mates come we should have a 996 Carrera and/or an E30 325i there too

To be fair I think you'll be okay on a non-novice day. There's always several people who are on their first day and I reckon there's a good argument that you don't want _everybody_ else around you to be a novice like you!

Very excited about this Saturday Although it looks like it's going to be a bit wet. Hope the forecast doesn't get worse, I reeeeeally want to get the Caterham on track

Hey mate, looks good Bloody typical, despite starting a thread to try and meet PHers, I didn't get off my arse between sessions to go meet anyone

Managed one 30 min stint in the 620R first thing and it was mega, especially when I realised that if I gave it a bit of welly getting in I would "fit" wearing my warm jacket

After a break I tried to go back out for a second session but the drizzle had properly started and on the second lap it just got ridiculous as it was like sheet ice on the ZZrs as it was so greasy: understeer into the corner, touch the gas and instant oversteer. Plus the added fun of basically not being able to touch the brakes I spun at about 20mph on the hairpin at the put exit, then ran straight on through the chicane before the main straight as all the wheels locked up when I looked at the middle pedal a bit too hard - luckily I didn't collect any signs on the way off. Oh, and my mate got both on video

Anyway, spent the rest of the day in the Boxster having a great time
