Do you find full face helmets too hot? Are there certain places/races where open faced are not allowed?

Thank you for all your replies, didn't think would cause such discussion, then safety if very important. Yep tin tops only for me!
Certainly wouldn't want a broken nose! (Or anything more serious for that matter!) hopefully book a day soon!
