Javelin Trackdays has announced a last-minute deal providing four hours of noisy, low-cost, open pit lane tracktime.

• When: Friday 8 September 2006, from 1pm to 5pm
• Format: Open pit lane, noise limit 105dB
• Price: £69

I don't have anything against good value per se, but have noticed a correlation between driver sanity/ability and price at trackdays. My first track day at a Castle Coombe event a few years ago cost something like 80 quid for 20 minutes, with 4 abreast into the first corner. Crazy stuff.
