I'm doing a 4 person day with them tomorrow. Can't wait. Anyone here done one - and if so, what's it like?

I'm particularly keen to learn to heel and toe and about left foot breaking. Both things I understand the principle of, but when I've tried to practice on the road have felt I'm a bit of a liability.

I'm doing the 30 car day tomorrow, although obviously not as intensive but for £30 I can't complain!

It was very, very good.

I learnt a lot. So many of the things I percieved as being "rules" that I had in my head were wrong. Also, I was sure I wasn't doing certain things, but Andrew highlighted I was, and once I stopped them I was immediatly faster.

And by the end we were doing a circuit that was mapped out, and Andrew did it in 1:25 in my car and I was able to manage 1:29, which I was very pleased with.

Glad you had a good one. You need to get an Elise though - that'll take 30 seconds off your time........

Not what Andy said. He was 3 seconds slower in my 968 than his Elise on his first lap in my car, and said he thought if he had 5-6 laps in it the 968 might be quicker. We had a long straight in the course we were using though, which is where the 968 is quicker.

I'm a big fan of the Elise's though, and would have one if it was a bit more practical (and I wasn't such a fat ba5tard).

He set a different circuit then to when I was there the other week. No long straights in ours. Did he send you off down to where you turn for the 90 degree left?

Yep, we essentially did his std course, but swapped the top right cone for a chicane, a trip down the single track road, turning around a cone at the end, and back up it again, into the fast left hander you do in the morning, then continue with the std course he does.
