Was at Spa this week and have now had chance to analyse some video and it looks like I was putting in lap times in the range of 2:57 to 3:05.

Anyone know how this compares with other road cars (can't find anything on Google)?

that's pretty good for a 1st time...pretty good anyway in a road car i'd say.

lap records around 1m32s. Kimi F1 Fezza.
Can't even comprehend what 1m32s must feel like, must be absolutely epic.

i drive a CSL and first visit to Spa last year in the dry the best i managed was a 2m 56+, and my second visit was this year and stole a 2m 54 dead.

If you were driving the R8 in your profile a 2m 57 first visit is ok but i would think you should be aiming for 2m 50 or lower when you get on the money!
Cheers Shim. Yes I was in the R8.

Still need to build up my speed through Eau Rouge as I was doing quite a long lift and that then has a big impact down the straight.

Think I could also get on the power earlier through Stavelot and therefore carry more speed through Blanchimont and up to the Bus Stop.

2.43 in the dry on 888's, would love to see what It would do with slicks on.
In the GT2 I assume.

How much per lap do you think 888s are worth. I was running standard PZeros.
