Hi just a quick question. The other half works in a gym and some shifts she covers reception. They have recently been told that they are no longer entitled to breaks even a toilet break.
She is no expected to be at the desk for 6 1/2 hours with no break.
The duty manager used to cover breaks but the company is cxxx they have cut staff so much the duty managers have been told not to cover breaks.
Sorry its a bit rambling but whats the legal position on this.
I thought you were entitled to a break but i dont know what the time scale is.
thanks
