"Equal Opportunities Employer"
Discussion
I am filling out an application form for an internal job position within my company and came accross the question:
"Company x is an equal opportunities employer. What do you do in your current role to promote equal opportunities within the workplace?"
Would "I am not a racist" suffice?
ETA - balls! just realised the 3 p's in the title!
this is not reflective of the quality of my application... much

Nothing. I judge people on their abilities and skills. I don't do "equal opportunity" I give the work to the person I think will do the best job of it. If that breaches the company "equal opportunities" regulations, give the work to the retards in the dept as well as the talented people, and we'll build warships from cardboard and sticky-back plastic.
It's a nonsense.
I agree.It's a nonsense.

How about saying...." I promote equal opportunities for all by treating all people in the same proffessional manner. Irrespective of race, relegion, sexuality or any other identifying catagorizations"
Cheers! I realised I needed to pad out my answer a bit more. But, as doogz said, it's such a nonsensical question!Gassing Station | Jobs & Employment Matters | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
