Any Postmen/Women work for Royal Mail?
Discussion
Hi
I am contemplating a complete career change and doing some delivery work for Royal Mail. Just standard postman type stuff. Part time hours. It'll be nice to get out of the office!
Whilst the hours and wage look reasonable, once I've got the job, is there a chance they might change things considerably? Does overtime exist, as this would be required to bump up the wages a bit.
Are they a good company to work for? I suppose it's changed a bit since they were privatised?
Any advice is appreciated

Surely, by default, all postmen/women work for Royal Mail?
Depends how pedantic you are.One could say, UKmail, TNTpost, FedEx post (To name but a few) all hire postmen and women?
But it's just a thread title. Did you miss the actual question about the company, or just have no experience in this matter?

Very.
How dull your life must be. Thanks for reading all the same. I've edited the original for your benefit. It now shows companies that say they are offering post services.I look forward to a useful response from someone else in due course...
