I got home today to an email from a training provider (with whom i am awaiting the interview results for an oil and gas apprenticeship) offering me an interview next week for a similar engineering apprenticeship with a local large hospital.
I knew the training provider had sent me details off to other employers, but didnt know who.
The two disciplines are electrical (which i can kind of envisage) but i cannot fathom what a mechanical apprentice would do at a hospital.

Any ideas?

Had the interview for the apprenticeship today.
Went well, considering i had very little time to revise.

How did you get on with Opito? Is that the oil and gas apprenticeship your waiting to hear about? I got as far as the reserve list which was a bit disappointing but, I could have done better in the interview.

I think I've applied for over 20 apprenticeships this year and had around 10 interviews altogether. It's so hard to get an apprenticeship these days! I managed to get the job I wanted in the end though smile.

Best of luck mate.
I didnt get far with the Opito one.

The one i am awaiting a reply from is for an on shore role at Europes largest onshore oil field. (Some light googling will reveal the company)

Did you apply for any others?
