I manage construction sites. It's a company car with fuel card so that's not a problem.
Serious staffing issues further away from my job have meant a shuffle round for many people to cover all jobs. Short term I'm fine with it but I (and others in the same situation) feel it may be more longer term

I'd probably do 2 hours for silly money. Probably not for very long at all though.
Salary. Win some lose some. Even if it was double money it still doesn't give you the time back sat in the car and time away from family I'd probably do 2 hours for silly money. Probably not for very long at all though.

Update: spoke with our independent safety consultant who's instant reaction was it's wrong, very wrong regarding EU working agreements and the HSE working hours regs. Basically a good chunk of that journey has to be within my work hours and not in my private time. Going to confirm next week when he's sure.
