My Role Advertised with agency - unknown to me

I was recently appointed to head up a small house builder to drive the business forward, answering directly to the Chief Executive.

The guy is hard to please, but doesn't really do the strategic role a CEO should and wants to stick his nose into everyone's business.

Friday night my exact role is advertised via a head hunter.

I know they are allowed legally to advertise it.

he actually denied any adverts being posted. I popped the print out under him and he looked shocked.

he might have played me how he wanted.

But I'm not sure he planned it this way. His business has no systems in place to handle the decision made when I started to become a main contractor in its own right and to build our own units, rather than using Main Contractors.
