Is it difficult for someone to get security clearance if he holds dual nationality? I have heard that you can be asked to relinquish your non-British nationality.

Also, how long does SC clearance take to come through.

I heard that normaly there is no face to face interview for SC but there is one for DV clearance. Is this true?

Do you have to give only last 5 years details for SC?

Yep.

Don't know anyone who has had an interview for SC.

Pretty sure everyone is interviewed for DV.
New employer will sponser me for SC as i don't think i qualify for DV yet.

If some how i don't get SC then my contract will be terminated. Don't know if its worth taking risk and relocate with family for this new job.

@OP, may I ask, to which category of SC do you refer? Is it for a specific position/sector. I ask as SC for (for example) Cat A prisons takes a fair while. I have known it to take over six months.
It's for IT position.
