Hi,

I hope you are all well - I have been asked to attend an interview for a job that I would really like but upon formulating a presentation (as requested), a term which has been used in a question is a cause for concern. It's the terminology of the "apprenticeship stream" which has puzzled me. It has been a three years since I was last employed in this sector and it wasn't a term I was familiar with. I've exhausted search engines but to no avail - it just refers me to the gov.uk site which doesn't clarify or mention it either.

Is anybody able to shed any light on what an "apprenticeship scheme" is? Thank you.

Thank you for your reply - much appreciated.

I understand what an apprenticeship scheme entails but I am unsure as to what an "apprenticeship stream" is. Would it be the same and/or similar idea?!

Thank you for all of your replies - much appreciated.

My presentation went well, I focused on the funding streams and provisions that are available to both candidate and employer and continued to demonstrate how it would benefit the training provider with their targets and opportunities.

I wasn't successful on this occasion because there was another person who had an extensive experience in the recruitment industry and it would make sense to favour that individual. I am viewing it as more experience in interviews and I derive great satisfaction that I was shortlisted down to the final few, out of many who didn't. As I am only 20, I believe that more opportunities will present themselves in the future! Thank you.
