What great company benefits do you get?
Discussion
I have recently joined a new company and I have been made to feel most welcome.
But what I find unusual is the lengths the company has gone to make this company a pleasant place to work. Apart from the fact that my office is based in a grade 2 listed manor house with views across a wonderful garden with the river Thames at the bottom of it we also get:
• Our own beautifully maintained golf course
• A grass football pitch
• A games room with pool tables and an Xbox etc.
• Plus the use of the companies ski chalet when I go to the Nordics
What less common benefits do you enjoy in your work place?

Free travel on my Train Operating Company (TOC) for me and my family (commuting for me only tho).
Certain amount of free travel on other TOCs run by parent company.
75% off all public walk-up fares (including rovers) for use on all TOCs.
Heavily discounted Eurostar, a limited but still generous amount of free travel and unlimited discount rail travel across Europe.
Oh and did I mention the Final Salary pension? Not bad at all in my opinion.
I was told on my first week in the railway that if you last 6 months, you'll never leave. So true.

Similar here, but have a first class status pass covering all TOCs, and the European travel is also first class. I try to make the most of it, and go for a week travelling by train in Europe each year, normally Germany/Austria/Switzerland.Certain amount of free travel on other TOCs run by parent company.

Nothing out of the ordinary for me although under previous ownership I think xmas nights out used to be free bar.
We occasionally get a free take away or cakes.
I do work for a large multi national though employing 10's of thousands of people across America and the UK. Although only about 600 people worker directly for the company at my place of work. So understand that laying on free bar or fun day trips can be difficult and expensive to do to satisfy either the 10's of thousands world wide or the 600 at our site.
It has crossed my mind before though what could the company do to raise morale/reward employees either globally or locally without the worry of pleasing half and upsetting half. (i.e. a bottle of wine at xmas doesn't suit everyone as not everybody drinks).
Anyone work in a business with similar numbers that goes above and beyond to reward or enhance morale?

We have a climbing wall, that's got be fairly unusual?
Other than that we've got all the usual, Sky in the break rooms, subsidised canteen with a Costa coffee, kitchens for making our own food, gym with sports hall, wifi, well maintained grounds with a lake next to a nature reserve, BUPA, good leave allowance (I only work 184 days a year). Pretty good really.
