Car sales executive interview tomorrow - any tips?
Discussion
Been posted a number of times before here on PH... But tomorrow I am having an Interview to be a sales executive at Evans Halshaw Ford.
Any tips or ideas on what questions I may be facing? I have some basic experience in sales and working in the motor trade, but I'd like a bit more of an idea on what to expect in my interview tomorrow? I have researched a bit into EH history etc..
Any advice and tips would be much appreciated!
Thanks guys!

Try to worry less about the questions you'll be facing and more about the questions you should ask. For instance, what does a typical day involve, what is expected in the first 6 months, what is the difference between your top sales person and bottom sales person, do they have any reservations about you, next steps etc.
Also, remember to be on time but not too early, be smart and smile.
Good luck!
Thanks for that Hoolio Also, remember to be on time but not too early, be smart and smile.

So had the interview yesterday... I met with the branch manager and it was quite an informal relaxed sort of meeting in all honesty. The manager basically said it was a way of getting to know me as a person and was just a basic overview of how the company operates and then a quick run through of my CV and past experiences.
All seems to have gone very well, hopefully hear back next week to see if I am to attend a second interview! Watch this space

Don't do it...
I worked for evans halshaw Vauxhall.
Possibly the single worst company I have ever worked for.
I can only echo this, I worked for EH Ford, truly awful. I stayed 6 months and in that time the staff turnover was huge.I worked for evans halshaw Vauxhall.
Possibly the single worst company I have ever worked for.
Nobody, including management at Pendragon level, cared about anyone else. You are just a tiny number. The pay plan is pathetic too, £10 per car!
