Right, I love the car but it could do with more volume pootling round at low revs with the windows down.

On the V8 M3 you could cut a flap on the upper surface of the back boxes, sleeve the perforated pipes within and then have it sounding amazing for £300.

Bonus was stock appearance kept and no one could tell visually unless you took off the exhaust.

Anyone tried this on the F10?

I'm guessing under the wool on the right side are perforated pipes which could be sleeved?

I still want to give this a go if it's reversible?

Hence maybe cutting out the perforated pipes may be better so come the end of my lease I can weld back in the originals.

At least it looks like only a small window at the back of the box needs to be cut so very stealthy.
