M3 Saloon from AUC - anything you need to check before?

I'm looking at a car at an AUC, I've had a quick look round the car to check service history, number of owners, looked in boot and front to see any weird weldings that might indicate a bash, tyre wear etc...
Is there anything else worth checking on an AUC car or are you pretty safe? Do the 120 point checks actually get carried out and do they mean much? How good are BMW with the warranties on AUC cars, and how likely are you to be able to haggle a 2yr one?

Cheers guys, is it worth checking anything else? I know when buying some of the other cars I've been through you'd ask on the forums "anyone know this car" etc. to check if the owner had banged it into something on a track etc...
With the AUC cars, it's a gross generalisation, but do they only tend to retail the "good ones" and send the rest to auction?
