Who has paid “big” money for an E36 M3?

We all know E36 M3 asking prices are on the rise.

However I had a look on the E36 M3 section of the classifieds today and while there are some large asking prices out there, a lot of the more expensive stock is still around from when I purchased mine at the start of the year.

I don’t need to know the details but has anybody actually purchased recently at say above £6K?

Is the price increase real or just a few car dealers chancing their arm?
