Once again, the Michelin Pilot Supersports are on back order.

I did have a pair reserved, but they turned out to be imaginary!

My rears, after almost 16000 miles, are down to almost 3mm, so really need to find some pronto.

Black circles can't help, others say they can get them, only to disappoint.

Any suggestions?

I'd hate to go begging around BMW dealers to receive a royal shafting like I did with my previous car.....they damaged the wheels on fitting too!

Has anyone got experience of other brands??

I really appreciate these suggestions and will get to work on it.

Will let you know how I get on.

Ho Ho.....I hope you've been doing track days, that kind of tyre wear can't be through road use, can it?!

Ermmmm, nope whistle

I only used to get 9 or 10k out of a set of rears for my E60 535D M Sport and about 8k in my 997 C2S so thought I was doing quite well!

Bloody hell, that's some going!

Are you being naughty on roundabouts, heavy with the right foot?

How's your licence doing?!

I make good progress on a very regular basis, so I'm curious as to why mine are lasting more than twice as long.

Could geometry/tyre pressures be a big factor?

I check my pressures weekly (35 all round on 20s), with geometry checks every three months or so.

Just a thought!

Your welcome Jazzer, worth keeping a eye on there search site some bargains to be had sometimes, our Michelins from them last year £180 each delivered for the rears.
Tyres were delivered, exactly as promised.

Fabulous customer service, they do exactly what they say they will do.

Very refreshing, eh?
