Dont think anyone in their right mind would expect the M5 to keep up in corners - the thing for me was i was shocked it kept up in a straight line....

Both are great performers, but the m5 (for me and my lifestyle) is a better car.

You on the V10 M5? have fancied the M6 put just cant bring myself to the 10-12mpg

I know you dont expect a lot but that is just mental - currently got a E46 cab - 79mph on motorway other day for 150 miles - 31.5mpg -

I understand that, I didnt buy the M3 for that reason, its just nice to know you dont have to fill up every 140 miles

Fantastic MPG for the performance -

I know we all say its a performance car its not going to do x but who in reality wants to pay for something doing 10-12mpg - puts me off

There is cars out there that will give you both
